ChIP on Chip
The FGCZ offers chromatin immunoprecipitation-on-a-chip (ChIP-on-chip) technology for biological research on Agilent and Affymetrix microarray platform. The ChIP-on-chip DNA microarrays allow the monitoring of binding events of DNA-binding proteins to proximal promoters of human, Mouse, Arabidopsis, Yeast genomes or defined regions such as the ENCODE region.
Main Applications
- Genome-wide identification of DNA binding sites for transcription factor and other DNA-binding proteins or protein complexes.
- Investigating the activation state of the chromatin.
- Assaying polymerase activity.
Support Modes
Affymetrix, Agilent and Nimblegen ChIP on Chip technologies are available in User lab mode.
