Next Generation Sequencing

Next-generation sequencing generates up to several gigabases of sequence data in a single run. Additional to sequencing genomes or metagenomes, this opens also new possibilities for studying transcriptomes, epigenomes, and regulomes.

Support Modes

We offer the following service for Next Generation Sequencing:

• Consultation and advice on the technology and experimental design
• Advice on the preparation of the samples
• Quality and quantity control of samples
• Sequencing
• Image and signal processing using Roche 454 GS FLX Software
• Standard data analysis using Roche 454 GS FLX Software and/or 3rd party Software

We provide development/implementation of novel algorithms and pipelines for non-standard data analysis in Collaboration mode.

Getting Started

If you are interested in sequencing services and/or collaborations:

• Please submit your proposal via the Project Request Tool (PRT).
• If required, a meeting can be scheduled to discuss experiment design, sample preparation and data analysis strategies.
