Spotted Microarrays
The FGCZ produces custom microarrays for special applications that are not covered satisfactorily by commercially available products.
Microarrays are generated either by printing probes using contact and non-contact technologies on modified glass slides.
The printing approach uses standard glass slides as base and can print oligonucleotides, ESTs, cellular materials, carbohydrates, antibodies, peptides and protein. It is suitable for arrays of low or medium density and for batch sizes from ~100 to ~1000
Additionally the printed microarrays may also be used for metabolic, proteomic or other interaction analyses.
