Biomolecular Interaction

We offer measurements of the interaction and binding behaviour between two molecule species using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) implemented in the Biacore T100 and BioRad`s ProteOnXPR36 instruments.
Interactions are typically measured between proteins but can be applied to any two of
- Proteins
- Polysaccharides
- Nucleic Acids
- Lipid mono- and bilayers
Additionally, interactions can be measured between any of the above and a small molecule, e.g. a metabolite.
With SPR experiments an interaction can be characterized in terms of specificity, speed, strength, and interactant concentration. This is useful for, e.g. kinetic studies, epitope mapping, concentration analysis.
