Bioinformatics

We provide the know-how and resources to handle and evaluate the different types of -omics data that is generated at our center. We transfer our knowledge to the user community in the form of courses and presentations as well as in direct collaborations with individual research groups.

We develop, run and maintain software for the management, processing, and statistical as well as functional analysis of -omics data.

We provide bioinformatics support at three levels:

• We grant our users access to software. See the subsections for the supported commercial and academic bioinformatic software.
• We give training on general data analysis strategies and teach their application using our software infrastructure.
• We develop and implement algorithms for dedicated data handling and data analysis. This is done as a general support that benefits all projects and in a collaboration framework as specific support for individual user projects.
