Specialist Genomics

Simon is responsible for Single Molecule Sequencing (Pacific Biosciences and Oxford Nanopore Technologies) workflows and applications. Additionally, he is also involved in several High Throughput Next Generation Sequencing (Illumina) workflows and coordinates the integration of Laboratory Automation in the genomics subgroup.
Together with the other members of the genomics team, he supports the FGCZ users in various Next Generation Sequencing applications.
