Jens is responsible for photochemical/ fluorescence/ thermophoresis measurements (LS400, Spark fluorimeter, Monolith), and surface plasmon resonance (Biacore S200) applications including user support and training. Furthermore, Jens has more than 20 years of expertise in producing and processing microarrays. Apart from standard applications, he serves as the primary contact for developing need-specific substrate chemistries. His latest field of activity is the study of dye-DNA interactions and single-molecule kinetics experiments including single-molecule oligonucleotide chemistry using a modified PacBio RS sequencer.
